Normally Sunset Beach Resort is a very quiet place. It is not practical for us to monitor all of our property inside and out on a 24-hour basis. If anyone is too loud and disturbs you, contact the offending person yourself and ask them to hold it down and/or call our neighborhood watch group (SACNW) at (501)610-4911.
Also call (SACNW) if dog barking disturbs you. 10PM-8AM is considered to be quiet time. Enjoy the peace and quiet!
We have complimentary wireless internet service available for your exclusive use at Sunset Beach Resort. We have a fiber optic connection with BTL.
Please remember this is an Island and our resources can be limited. While bathing please conserve water in the shower. TAP water is generally considered suitable for drinking and we filter it. We also provide you with a 5-gallon jug of bottled water. Additional jugs can be purchased for $10bzd.
You may cool the condo by opening the windows or using the AC. DO NOT DO BOTH AT THE SAME TIME!
This can cause the AC to freeze or cease to function. Help protect our environment and conserve energy by turning off the lights, AC, and fans if you will be out of the condo for more than an hour.
While using your cellular telephone, be sure to check your carrier’s roaming charges, as they can be very steep. If your telephone is displaying BTL, this indicates you are picking up the local network and you can place local calls using the 7-digit Belize telephone number. To call the USA or Canada, you will need to dial 001 + area code + number.
You may decide to have laundry or cleaning done during your beach holiday. If you do, call the following people to arrange for these services and pay them directly.
LAUNDRY – Irma Palmer (671-1791). She will have your laundry picked up and delivered back to you. Charges are based on weight. You will be billed by Irma and you pay her directly.
CLEANING – Janet Perez (620-4706). Please contact Janet or the concierge if you would like cleaning during your stay. You will be billed by Janet and pay her directly.
Towels and beach towels for each guest are placed in your condo before your stay. We are an eco-friendly resort and provide a change of towels after your third night’s stay upon request. Please ask the concierge if you need additional towels.
Please help to keep our home clean and bug-free and remove your trash when the bins are full. Trash containers are located on either side of the resort by the road. Look for the wooden gate doors.
To tip or not to tip. And if so… how much? Many resorts add an automatic gratuity charge or service charge of 5-11 percent of your rental. We do not.
We encourage you to tip if you feel that any of our staff members made your experience here more enjoyable.
